TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - Authorities dealt with a strange situation on southbound Interstate 75 Friday morning.

Toledo fire crews said someone came across an unusual, white, solid substance along the side of the expressway near Phillips Avenue.

They shut down one lane while hazmat crews worked to determine what the substance was. Officials said their best guess is that the substance is either some kind of soap or fertilizer.
