TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - Crews determined a lightning strike to a popular west Toledo sports bar caused a power outage for around 1,200 people Wednesday afternoon.

Lightning struck Arnie's bar at Central and Secor shortly before 1 p.m. It jumped to a transformer and caused a power outage to 1,200 locals.

Fire crews were able to put out the fire in 15 minutes, as it was contained to just the kitchen.

By 2:30 p.m. Toledo Edison was able to completely restore power.
