
TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - A man is recovering after being shot outside a south Toledo bar early Friday.
Police say the shooting happened shortly before 1 a.m. outside the Jesse James Sports Bar on Reynolds Road near South Avenue after a fight started inside. Corey Dotson threatened to jump Gerald McNeal. McNeal then fired one shot, hitting Dotson in the stomach.
First responders described his injuries as serious. He was rushed to the hospital for surgery. There's no word on Dotson's condition.
Police questioned many witnesses at the scene and even took some in for questioning, including McNeal.
