Dog warden employee gets jail time unrelated to cruelty charge

TOLEDO, OH (TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - Aaron Nova, who has been charged with animal cruelty, received jail time on an unrelated charge.

While employed by the Lucas County Dog Warden's office, a video was captured of Nova allegedly throwing a dog around.

The animal cruelty charge was a violation of Nova 's probation on a previous domestic violence conviction.

He was sentenced to six months in jail for that violation.
