TOLEDO, OH (TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - Toledo police are searching for the shooter after gunfire rang out inside a central Toledo home late Monday.

It happened shortly after 11:30 p.m. on the 900 block of Vance near Hawley.

The victim was shot in the leg while visiting someone at the home, according to police. Investigators think several people were involved, but it's not clear if more than one person had a weapon.

After the shooting, the suspects fled.

Emergency crews took the victim to the hospital. His name and condition have not yet been released.
