MONROE, MI (Toledo News Now) - A motorcyclist died as a result of a collision with a pickup truck in Monroe County Thursday night.
Shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday, the Monroe City Police and Fire departments responded to a motorcycle versus pickup truck crash at the intersection of West 7th Street and South Telegraph Road.
Preliminary investigation indicated the motorcycle was traveling westbound on W. 7th at S. Telegraph. The pickup truck was traveling eastbound on W. 7th and attempted to turn left onto northbound S. Telegraph. The two vehicles collided at the intersection.
The motorcyclist, Michael James Kosa, 48, of Monroe County, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
