
ROYALTON TOWNSHIP, OH (Toledo News Now) – A fatal accident just before 11:30 a.m. Tuesday closed the intersection of U.S. 20 and State Route 109 near Delta, OH for several hours.
Glen Robinson, 86, of Adrian, MI, was traveling southbound on SR 109 in a Buick LaCrosse when he stopped at the stop sign at the intersection with US-20. Ronald Harris Jr., 38, of Fayette, OH, was traveling westbound on US-20 in a Ford F-350. Robinson failed to yield to Harris and was struck on the driver's side. Both vehicles traveled off the south side of US-20. Once they left the roadway, Harris' vehicle overturned and struck a utility pole.
Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Harris sustained a minor injury but was not transported to a hospital.
Both men were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
