
TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - Collingwood Boulevard has reopened over Interstate 75 near downtown Toledo after a hit-and-run left a box truck overturned in the road.
Just before noon, police say a Lucas County box truck driven by county employees was hit by a Ford Explorer who ran a red light coming off the highway onto Collingwood. The SUV hit the truck, turning it on its side. The SUV then fled the scene but was found a block away.
The driver was charged with running a red light.
The road was closed for a short period of time but has since reopened.
No injuries were reported.
