DAMASCUS TOWNSHIP, OH (TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirms 57-year-old Dennis Ray Sr. died in a single-vehicle crash Sunday.
The passenger, 54-year-old Connie Ray, received minor injuries. She was transported to an area hospital.
It happened at approximately 5:30 p.m. on State Route 65, west of County Road 1 in Henry County.
Troopers say Dennis Ray was driving a 1993 Dodge Ram pick-up truck eastbound on State Route 65 when the vehicle went off the road and struck several bushes then a tree. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Both occupants were wearing a seatbelt. Alcohol use is unknown, and the crash remains under investigation.
