Police search for 2 men after attempted north Toledo robbery

TOLEDO, OH (TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - One man has been taken to the hospital after being shot late Sunday in north Toledo. Police are looking for two people in relation to the case.

It happened in the 800 block of Magnolia near North Ontario.

The victim says was walking just after 11:30 p.m. when two people approached him and demanded his money. They then shot him in the stomach.

The man was rushed to the hospital. First responders on scene say his injuries are serious but do not appear to be life threatening.

No description of the suspects have yet been released.
