SANDUSKY, OH (Toledo News Now) - The man accused of murdering a Sandusky mother and her two small children made a plea in court Tuesday.
Curtis Clinton, 41, pleaded not guilty in Sandusky Municipal Court.
Clinton is accused of strangling 23-year-old Heather Jackson, her 3-year-old daughter and 18-month-old son.
Prosecutors say an autopsy report reveals the young girl suffered injuries consistent with a sexual assault.
His bond will stay at $3 million.
The case will be presented to a grand jury Wednesday.
Jackson and her two children were found dead inside their Sandusky home Sept. 8. According to the Erie County Coroner, they all died of ligature strangulation.
