TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A day after two men arrested in connection with the killing of a Toledo 1-year-old posted bond and were released from jail, Lucas County Prosecutor Julia Bates declined to comment on the matter.

Keyshawn Jennings and Antwaine Jones posted bond and were released from the Lucas County Jail Thursday.  James Moore, the third man arrested in the case, remains locked up.  All three were arrested for Obstruction of Justice just days after a shooting at the Moody Manor apartment complex in central Toledo that killed 1-year-old Keondra Hooks and severely injured her 2-year-old sister Leondra. Police say the three men lied about being at the scene at the time of the shooting.

Earlier this week, a judge reduced bond for all three from $500,000 to $20,000 for two of them and $10,000 for the third.  At that hearing, defense attorneys argued that bond had been set so high because police had promised to bring more charges in the case soon.  More than a month later, with no more charges brought against the three men, the judge agreed and reduced their bond.

Toledo News Now contacted Lucas County Prosecutor Julia Bates Friday to ask if any more charges would be brought against the three, or anyone else in relation to the case, but Bates declined to comment on the ongoing investigation.

"We don't feel safe because we don't know if they did it. We don't know if they didn't do it, but if they are the ones who did it, how do we know we're not next, somebody else in our family is not next? How do we know?" said Tamatha Hamilton, aunt of Keondra and Leondra. "I feel like we're not important to their investigation because it's been said that it's gang related. Still, my niece lost her life for no reason, and she's not in a gang. She's only one year old."
