VIDEO: Good Samaritans chase down robber of 62-yr-old lady

COLUMBUS, OH (TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - Good Samaritans in Columbus, Ohio stopped a thief who tried to rob a 62-year-old woman.

The robbery and brief foot chase was captured on camera.

The woman had just cashed a check at Kroger and was leaving the store when a man ran up to her, grabbed her purse and knocked her over.

The suspect ran only a few yards before onlookers rushed in and surrounded him until police arrived.

The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
