(Toledo News Now) - Strap your phone into a headband with suction cups and GO! GoJo headgear promises you can speak handsfree, but does it work?
We asked four people to try this. First, we had Sheila Conley work out on a stationary bike while wearing the GoJo headset. She didn't have any trouble attaching her smart phone to it, but she didn't like having to take the headset on and off each time she answered her phone.
Next, two florists demonstrated how the set worked well with their cell phones as they arranged bouquets, but when they tried it on the normal handheld business phone, it didn't work too well. The headset was too bulky and didn't hold the earpiece in place.
Two college students admitted this isn't the "fashion statement" they wanted to make. They said this "look" would turn a lot of heads on campus, and not for the right reasons. While we interviewed one of the students, the headset actually lost its grip and her phone fell to the ground.
After just four people using the tiny suction cups, GoJo left us doubting we'd put our expensive smart phones in its headset. It could be handy, but we're not too "hung up" on it.
GoJo gets a generous "C" on this Does It Work test because it technically works. You can buy it at Walmart.
