If you are not registered, or if your registration card isn't post marked Oct. 9, you will not be allowed to vote in November's presidential election.
On the final day to register, the Cuyahoga Co. Board of Elections says they saw record numbers for people registering compared to the presidential election four years ago. Many also took the opportunity to vote early.
Jacob Vansickel with Bike Cleveland says, "For us voting early at the Board of the Elections really made sense because we could do it as a group."
The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections felt more like a party Tuesday night, complete with the award winning Shaw High School marching band playing tunes.
"Well the atmosphere as of right now is festive we are just again trying to get people excited about voting," says Donshon Wilson, Shaw High Band Director.
The Cuyahoga Co. Board of Elections Director Jane Patten says so far there have been no issues with early voting or registration.
