TOLEDO, OH (TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - Two men go to court after allegedly robbing and killing a man last week. They turned themselves in overnight and went before a judge Wednesday morning.
After the defendants pleaded not guilty to charges of aggravated murder, police took them into custody late Tuesday night. Police arrested 28-year-old Andrew Goetz and 28-year-old Chaz Jackson.
Investigators say they tried robbing Jonathan Morris, who was shot three times at his home at Ravine Park Village near Seaman and Wheeling last week. He died later at the hospital.
The two men appeared in Toledo Municipal Court Wednesday morning for their arraignments.
Goetz and Jackson are behind bars on a $1 million bond.
Both men are due back in court next week.
