TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - Creonna Ballard, sister of James Moore, suspect in Moody Manor murder says her brother is innocent when it comes to the murder of 1-year-old Keondra Hooks and felonious assault on her 2-year-old sister Leondra.
Moore, 20 along with Antwaine Jones, 18, and Keshawn Jennings, 20, were indicted by a Lucas County grand jury on 11 counts each, after extensive investigation into the murder on Aug. 9.
Though community members say justice needs to be served, they also say the arrests do not make them happy. The community said the charges do not bring back Keondra and in turn take three men away from their families.
Ballard said justice is not being served because she believes her brother is innocent.
"My brother has a three year old child himself, a little boy who I know, I know my brother to the T...I know him too much and I know he would not never do nothing like that," said Ballard.
Ballard said her brother has a three year old boy and would never do anything to harm any young child.
