KALIDA, OH (Toledo News Now) - A woman is recovering after being thrown from her vehicle in a Sunday crash.
Just before 4 p.m. Sunday, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office received several calls for an injury accident in the 15000 block of U.S. Route 224 just east of Kalida.
Two women were heading eastbound on US-224 when they struck a pole. Driver Jade Jennings, 20, of Cloverdale, OH, was ejected from the vehicle and transported to a Lima hospital. The juvenile passenger was removed from the vehicle by emergency personnel and transported to the same hospital in Lima. Investigators have not said how bad those injuries are.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the crash.
