FINDLAY, OH (Toledo News Now) - Findlay students will get to move into their two brand new middle schools in January.
The superintendent says everything is going according to plan for Donnell and Glenwood middle schools. Grass will soon be planted at Donnell and lockers are currently being installed in Glenwood.
At the end of the semester, students from Central Middle School will be moving to the new buildings.
Superintendent Dean Wittwer says there will be a huge difference with "large areas for cafeteria, gymnasiums, art rooms, band rooms, computer labs, science labs," and more. He believes students will be impressed with the new schools.
Once middle school students have transitioned to their new buildings, Central Middle School will be vacant. There is a proposal to renovate the auditorium inside and make it more modern and open to the entire city for use.
