(Toledo News Now) - The Ohio Department of Transportation has an update concerning the Interstate 475/U.S. Route 23 resurfacing and bridge project in Lucas County.
On Wednesday beginning at 8 p.m., through Thursday at 6 a.m., the ramp from westbound I-475 to northbound US-23 will be closed for paving.
Suggested detours are southbound I-475, Central Avenue (Exit 13) and northbound I-475.
Additional ramp closures will be announced. Both lanes of northbound US-23, between I-475 and Sylvania Avenue, are now open.
Through November, overnight from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., lane restrictions are possible in both directions of I-475/US-23, from Central Avenue to the Ohio/Michigan border for resurfacing.
The project is expected to be complete this November. All work is weather permitting.
