CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
President Bill Clinton and Bruce Springsteen made a special appearance together at a get out the vote event in Parma at Tri-C Western Campus Fieldhouse Thursday before a packed house.
At the ticket-only event for President Obama and Vice President Biden, President Clinton and Springsteen highlighted early voting opportunities in Ohio and encouraged supporters to vote this November.
According to Michael Gelsomino, Supervisor of Plant Operations at Cuyahoga County Community College Western Campus, nearly 4,000 people turned out for the event.
Following the event in Parma, President Clinton will travel to Wintersville, Ohio for a campaign event at the Indian Creek High School Gymnasium. Bruce Springsteen will then travel to Ames, Iowa for the Obama-Biden Campaign.
In Parma and Wintersville, President Clinton will lay out a clear picture of the economic choice Americans face in this election. He will also discuss the choice in this election between moving forward with President Obama's vision to create an economy that's built to last, or going back to the same failed top-down economic policies that crashed our economy and punished the middle class.
