TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - The Swamp Shop will be selling American League Championship and World Series merchandise in celebration of their Major League Baseball affiliates, the Detroit Tigers.
The shop will be receiving a shipment of American League Champions T-shirts, and World Series sweatshirts and fleece pullovers. They will also have the 'league champions' ball caps that the tigers wore in the locker room.
Officials say the special merchandise is a very limited quantity and should be arriving early next week.
Calls can be made to The Swamp Shop at 1-800-736-9520 to be put on a calling list to be notified when the merchandise arrives.
"It's great that this area is still thinking about baseball this late into October. It definitely keeps baseball in the forefront of people's minds, which is great for the Tigers and it trickles all the way down to the Hens as well," said Director of Merchandise and Licensing for the Mudhens, Craig Katz.
Tigers World Series merchandise will also be sold during Walleye games at the Huntington Center.
