TOLEDO, OH (TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - Toledo Police are investigating after four people were shot in three separate incidents that happened within two hours of each other late Thursday and early Friday. Police say they may have a suspect in one of the shootings.
However, police say the shootings do not appear to be connected.
The first shooting happened on Cleveland in north Toledo around 11:30 p.m. Police say Anthony Raitz was shot in the neck by a suspect demanding money and drugs from people living in the home. He was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
About an hour later, a pregnant teenager was shot on Everett near Mulberry. She told police she was sitting on the front porch of her boyfriend's home when two men opened fire. The 19-year-old woman was hit in the leg and rushed to the hospital. Investigators say she is four months pregnant.
Approximately 30 minutes later, police say Darnell Gibson shot Joe Sandifer and Charles Marshal in the 400 block of Parker between Greenwood and Starr in east Toledo. Sandifer was shot in the chest. Marshal was shot in the head and neck. Police say both victims have serious injuries.
Police have issued an arrest warrant for Gibson.
