Berea (WOIO) - Former Browns president Mike Holmgren held an informal press conference on Monday to announce he's leaving the team at the end of the week.
"I was done," Holmgren said. "I've already passed the baton."
Holmgren said again he isn't sure what his future holds. He admitted last month he missed coaching.
"I honestly don't know if I'm going to go back to work right away or not, and I don't know if it will be in football," he said.
Holmgren said Browns fans are very passionate. "You don't understand (it) until you're here," he said. "I'm very thankful I got the opportunity to do this."
He also believes Brandon Weeden can be a good quarterback in the NFL.
