New court date for mother accused in young son's murder
CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
A new court date has now been set for the Cleveland mother accused of killing her young son.
On Tuesday, Camilia Terry was indicted by the Cuyahoga County grand jury for the murder of three-year-old Emilliano. Charges include aggravated murder, endangering children, felonious assault, tampering with evidence and gross abuse of a corpse.
Terry will go before a Cuyahoga County Judge on Friday morning. At that time, Terry will have an opportunity to enter a plea, and her case will be assigned to a judge.
Little Emilliano died of blunt force trauma to the head and torso. Officials have not yet determined where the child's death took place.
The little boy's body was found last week at the Waste Management Facility in Oakwood Village. The boy's body was intact, but wrapped in a series of three garbage bags in a move, investigators say, to conceal the body.
Terry's two other children - a five-year-old and an infant - are with Children Services.
