After five hours of deliberation, a jury found Davina Moore, 28, of Tyler, guilty of possession of marijuana, and possession of a controlled substance. Both are third degree felonies.
Moore was previously employed at both East Texas Medical Center, and Trinity Mother Frances Hospital. She was arrested at her home in March of 2011. Inside, police found 30 vials of drugs, including one vial of hydromorphone.
The charges were increased because Moore lived in a "drug-free" zone. The sentencing phase of her trial will start on Wednesday.
