STARK COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -
A pre-trial hearing in Canton quickly turned into a sentencing hearing for a former Jackson High School basketball coach accused of videotaping players.
Scott Studer plead guilty in court to eight counts of illegal use of a minor in a nudity-oriented material or performance.
A judge sentenced the 46-year old to 15 years in prison. He was also ordered to pay a $5,000 fine, with the money going to a victims fund in Newtown, CT.
Police say Studer hid cameras in the boys locker room at Jackson High School and videotaped boys in the shower. So far, more than 70 have been identified.
In addition of being classified as a Tier 2 sex offender, Studer has been banned from coaching for life.
