The future of the Cleveland Browns is being played out in Arizona.
Sources close to the situation say Oregon head coach Chip Kelly is close to becoming the next coach of the Cleveland Browns.
Two NFL insiders, Ian Rapaport from nfl.com and Mike Freeman from CBS Sports, are both reporting the Browns are close to a deal. The Associated Press had a report on Friday night agreeing with the two.
Kelly has been the Browns top target all along, and Friday was the first time they could get in a room with him. It has been rumored since early this week that the Browns were going to pull out all the stops to get Kelly.
ESPN says they met for seven hours with him. Buffalo then took their turn, Philadelphia is expected to meet with him on Saturday. Their report says that the Browns are considered the front runner to land him.
