The Browns were supposed to meet with Oregon head coach Chip Kelly on Saturday night. The Philadelphia Eagles had other plans. As the clock approached midnight in Cleveland that meeting had yet to occur in Arizona.

WIP radio in Philadelphia reported on Saturday that the Eagles were nearing a five year deal with Kelly. On Friday night the NFL.com reported Kelly was nearing a deal with the Browns. Buffalo did interview Kelly on Friday night, but they appear to be out of the picture.

Kelly turned down a coaching offer from Tampa Bay last year to return to Oregon.
