TOLEDO, OH (TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - Charter One Bank, in west Toledo on Tremainsville and Alexis Road, reopened late Monday afternoon after an early morning crash left a huge hole in the brick wall.
Toledo police say the hole is several feet tall and was the result of a crash, not an attempted robbery.
A spokeswoman for the bank says no one in the building at the time.
Police say a person may have lost control of a car, went off the road and into the building.
Permanent repairs to the brick wall are expected to start soon.
