MAUMEE, OH (Toledo News Now) - The University of Toledo has a new clinic located at Fallen Timbers in Maumee. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Monday morning for Family Physicians Primary Care Clinic, near Dillard's.
In response to the community's request, the new location is intended to broaden the reach of its university-quality health care throughout the northwest Ohio region by serving patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics.
The clinic will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Doctors are excited about the new facility's convenience and quality.
"This location extends the reach of our hub-and-spoke model of health care delivery," said Dr. Jeffery Gold, chancellor and executive vice president for biosciences and health affairs, and dean of the College of Medicine. "We are eager to meet the health care needs of this area of our community in a way that is not only convenient, but reflects the highest quality available."
Dr. Pal will be the lead clinician at the UT Family Physicians Primary Care Clinic. She completed her family medicine residency at UT Medical Center and has been recognized for her great patient relationships and excellent professionalism while at UTMC.
