MONCLOVA TOWNSHIP, OH (Toledo News Now) - It's time for Josie Langsdorf to cross a very important item off her bucket list. With the help of Twitter, her wish to meet TV reality star Scott Disick came true Tuesday night.
With her closest friends by her side, and Scott Disick right in front of her, the night belonged to Langsdorf. There were plenty of laughs and to Langsdorf, it was perfect.
"It was absolutely amazing. It was perfect. I don't know any other words," said Langsdorf. "I couldn't have asked for anything more."
A day shy of two weeks since the launch of her viral Twitter campaign to meet the reality star, Disick made the bucket list wish come true right before a trip to Paris and right in the Langsdorf's kitchen.
"I think he was a little overwhelmed. He said he never had so many people in one room who liked him!" joked Langsdorf.
"The fact that he came here, it blows my mind. I still can't believe he was in my kitchen. He was in my house. I hugged him. I'm just so happy that this happened for my mom. It's honestly amazing," said Ashley Langsdorf, Josie's daughter. "I could not stop telling him 'thank you' enough. The fact that he came here is just - makes me so happy for her."
A crew from Keeping up with the Kardashians filmed the whole experience.
While Langsdorf only had a few hours with Disick, in that time, she was able to tell him her story and her journey after being diagnosed with terminal lung cancer.
"I think the side you see on TV isn't the true Scott. I think he is truly a caring person and has a great heart," said Langsdorf. "I know if I wouldn't have had cancer, this never would have happened. So, I mean, obviously, I wish I never had cancer but, I think that it goes to show everybody that - just dream big, and you never know what can happen."
Disick didn't leave Langsdorf with just lasting memories. He gave her a new Rolex, as well as an invitation for another meeting in two weeks in California.
In the end, it was a bittersweet night that was able to take Langsdorf's mind off of cancer.
"At the end of the day, I'm going to keep living my life and I'm not going to give up. And I have to find the positives in everyday and this was definitely a positive day," said Langsdorf.
