A Lorain man arrested after allegedly hitting a man in the head with a funeral urn.
Cops were called to a home in the 1100 block of Oberlin Avenue in Lorain around 2 a.m. Friday morning for a fight.
Once on scene, an officer witnessed Joel Perez throw an urn at a man, hitting him in the head. The victim was rushed to the hospital with profuse bleeding.
Officers were forced to taser Perez after he refused to be placed into handcuffs. Once he was handcuffed, he continued to be unruly and made threats against his brother and people inside the Oberlin Avenue home.
Perez is charged with felonious assault, domestic violence and resisting arrest.
