University of Toledo officials say they are in the early stages of determining funding cuts. Staff members are expected to learn more on Thursday about a $36 million deficit reduction plan that will likely include reducing the number of part-time instructors.
The number of instructors to be cut has not yet been determined. Officials do say they want full-time instructors teach more. The changes will also mean bigger class sizes.
A meeting is expected to take place Thursday to discuss the plan with faculty.
We'll post more information as it becomes available.
