Pedestrian hospitalized after struck by car in west Toledo

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A man has been hospitalized after being hit by a car in west Toledo Thursday morning.

Police say he tried to cross Central at Douglas on his bike when the car struck him.

Medics took the man to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The car has been seriously damaged with the bumper torn off and a huge hole in the windshield where the man hit.
