STREETSBORO, OH (WOIO) -

A 45-year-old Warrensville Heights woman arrested for drunk driving in Streetsboro.

It happened just before 1 p.m. on Thursday in the 1800 block of Miller Parkway at Natural Essentials.

Officers found Alice M. Delgado had driven off the driveway, back on the driveway then struck another vehicle in the lot. The officer suspected Delgado was drunk, but she refused a breath test.

She was arrested and taken to the Portage County Jail.

While Delgado was in the booking room for a pat down, she tried to hug the female dispatcher. She then told the dispatcher how nice she was.

As Delgado was attempting to spit out her chewing gum, she sprayed spittle onto a Streetsboro police officer.

Delgado is charged with OVI and Operation without Reasonable Control.
