HOLLAND, OH (Toledo News Now) -
Prices at some local gas stations jumped around 30 cents per gallon up to $3.45 Friday afternoon.
According to AAA, that price is actually higher than the national average of $3.33, up from a $3.24 average a month ago.
Drivers filling up at the Shell station at McCord and Angola say when prices get this high, they change their driving habits.
"I'm spending so much on gas I have to limit my running around! It's terrible," said Cindy Hernandez.
"I'm not working anymore so it's doctors' offices, therapy and that's it. Less trips to see my family, and that makes me really upset," said Carly Chadwick.
