The Toledo Police Department announced they will be conducting a city-wide traffic enforcement blitz from January 28 through February 4.
The blitz is in conjunction with a national traffic safety campaign for Super Bowl weekend.
Enforcement will be concentrated in several areas around the city, and varying dates and times. Areas will include construction and school zones, as well as areas with more reported traffic complaints and accidents.
The blitz will be funded in part by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, through a grant administered by the Ohio Department of Criminal Justice Services.
