A public meeting will be held Tuesday night to discuss the
City of Toledo's future construction projects along I-75.
The projects will affect Berdan, Willis Parkway, and
Phillips interchanges. City representatives will be at the meeting to show the
streets, upcoming changes, and possible solutions to projected traffic
problems.
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is also planning
construction in the same area as part of their project to widen I-75. Under
that plan, the interchange at Berdan and I-75 will be permanently closed, but
there will be a full interchange at Jeep Parkway and Phillips Avenue.
That project has not yet been funded and won't start
until at least the spring of 2015.
The public meeting for the city will be held at Rosa
Parks Elementary School Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
