Monroe County tests community alert system Thursday

MONROE, MI (Toledo News Now) -

The Monroe County Emergency Management Division tested the county's alert notification system on Thursday. The test coincided with the monthly testing of severe weather sirens throughout the county.

The alert notification system is used to inform residents of emergencies and to quickly spread vital information.

Anyone with questions can call Monroe County Emergency Management at 734-240-3135.
