Monroe Co., Michigan man found dead after apparent altercation - ToledoNewsNow.com: News, Weather & Sports for Toledo, OH

Monroe County Sheriff's deputies found an Ash Township, MI man dead in his home this morning.

50 year old, David Killian, was found at the bottom of the basement stairs at his home on Carleton-Rockwood Rd. near I-275.

Investigators say Killian had a verbal altercation with a known male suspect, during which he was assaulted and died from his injuries.

The suspect was arrested and charged with open murder. His name won't be released until he's arraigned.

Alcohol and drugs appear to be a factor.
