PERRYSBURG TOWNSHIP, OH (Toledo News Now) -
James Newman is now being held in the Wood County Jail on
charges of burglary and possession of criminal tools.
Newman was booked Tuesday after being released from the
hospital, where he was being treated for a gunshot wound to the leg. Newman was
shot while being apprehended by police in Perrysburg Township on January 29.
Perrysburg Municipal Court online records show that
Newman is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on February 14. He is being held
on a $100,000 bond.
