When the University of Toledo Women's Basketball team takes on Kent State on Saturday the Rockets wont' be wearing their normal home whites. Instead, the UT Women will put on special pink jerseys.
The jerseys are part of the annual "Rockets for the Cure" game. After the game the jerseys will be auctioned off to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Northwest Ohio. Rocket basketball memorabilia, merchandise and autographed Rockets for the Cure t-shirts will be raffled off during the game.
The game will begin at 2 p.m. at Savage Arena. To buy tickets call 419-530-4653 or visit the UT ticket office.
Last year's game raised more than $19,700 for Susan G. Komen.
