(Toledo News Now) -

A local organization is seeking help in making its dream come true. The ISOH/IMPACT is hoping to expand and build a new facility at Levis Commons to serve as its headquarters.

The organization currently runs from Waterville, but they are hoping to have a new center up and running in 9-12 months.

The new facility would be three times the size of their current building, and equipped with loading docks, parking space, offices – there's even talk of providing health care services at the new location.

But they still need to raise the money. ISOH/IMPACT is planning to hold a gala fundraiser Thursday, February 28 at the Garden Hilton Inn at Levis Commons. For a $50 donation, guests can gain entry to the gala and dinner. There will be a silent auction, as well as live entertainment.

All money raised at the gala will be matched through a grant donation provided by the Diehl Family Foundation. ISOH/IMPACT is hoping to raise $400,000 for the new facility.

"This is a place people will be able to gather together as a hub," said ISOH/IMPACT President Dr. Linda Greene. "And we'll have medical teams going out, we'll be sending out buckets full of food, we'll be doing ‘Kids Against Hunger,' and I know we're talking about providing health care services, so I'm really excited about this event."

The new space will also allow for training for upcoming missions.
