TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -
Toledo police are now taking over the investigation on accusations that a Toledo Public Schools substitute teacher inappropriately touched a young student.
Michelle Chesser says her daughter was getting extra help on homework when her daughter said a substitute teacher cornered her near a desk in a classroom, grabbed her belt, and stuck two fingers down her pants.
TPS officials say that substitute was immediately escorted off school grounds. They say the district is conducting its own internal investigation alongside the Toledo Police Department's.
