CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

A man has been indicted for stalking a judge.  Robert E. Dowd, Jr. has been charged with menacing by stalking and court records show he had been harassing Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Marilyn Cassidy.

Records show Cassidy had hired him for help with speech writing, but Dowd then started sending her gifts and tried to start a personal relationship.

Dowd is a 64-year-old man of Painesville with his own Internet business.
