OREGON, OH (Toledo News Now) -
Oregon Police are trying
to identify suspects involved in recent thefts from a local Walmart.
The first is a woman who
allegedly stole a computer from the store on Navarre in Oregon Wednesday. Her
two children were with her.
"I think it's really sad
that a woman would take her children into a store and expose them to that
situation," said Sgt. Kelly Thibert of the Oregon Police Department. "I know
that times are hard for people, but really, to involve your children in those
kinds of activities is just a shame."
The woman left in a
vehicle described as a burgundy Ford E 150 van. A "SUNOCO" sticker was seen on
the rear left-side door and a right brake light was out.
The second theft occurred Thursday.
Police say two suspects worked together to steal a computer.
One suspect was a male
wearing a gray baseball hat, jeans, black shoes with blue soles, and a black
and white checkered shirt. The other was a female wearing white shoes, a brown
coat with tan fur around the hood, and jeans.
They left in a gray
minivan that has a broken rear window covered by plastic, a dented bumper, and
is missing a rear tail-light on the passenger side.
Anyone with information on
these suspects is asked to call the Oregon Police Department at 419-698-7062.
