Early morning crash sends E. Longmeadow teen to hospital

EAST LONGMEADOW, MA (WSHM) -

An overnight crash in front of the East Longmeadow Police Department sent a 19-year-old male to the hospital with suspected serious internal injuries.

Sgt. Pat Manley told CBS 3 that the vehicle overturned and took out a tree in front of the police station shortly before 4 a.m. on Sunday. 

The fire department was called in to extricate the teenager from his vehicle.

Manley said the 19-year-old was not conscious at the scene.

He was transported to Baystate Medical Center.
