BRUNSWICK, OH (WOIO) -
A 70-year-old bank robbery suspect leads police on a chase.
Brunswick Police Officers say around 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, the Huntington Bank at 3360 Center Road was robbed.
The suspect fled the scene in a black pick-up truck.
Officers quickly spotted him and gave chase. The pursuit went from 303 to 71 South, to Route 3, to Fenn Road to Pearl Road, where the suspect was finally stopped.
There were no injuries and the entire chase lasted around 15 minutes.
During the pursuit, the suspect vehicle struck a Brunswick Police vehicle, while in the city of Medina. Other agencies involved in the pursuit were the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Medina County Sheriff's Office, Medina Township Police Department, and Medina Police Department.
The 70-year-old Hinckley man will be charged with aggravated robbery, a felony of the first degree.
