Cleveland (WOIO) - Kyrie Irving returned home from the All-Star break, and promptly picked up where he left off, scoring 20 points in the fourth quarter, and 35 overall, to stun the New Orleans Hornets, 105-100 at Quicken Loans Arena on Wednesday.
It was the second-best fourth quarter performance of Irving's young career, and comes on the heels of a phenomenal showing at the All-Star festitivies, in which Kyrie won the 3-pt shootout on Saturday, and starred in the All-Star game on Sunday.
Toledo native Brian Roberts led the Hornets with 17 points off the bench, but his homecoming took a backseat to Kyrie's heroics.
Dion Waiters added 16 for the Cavs.
